I can no longer log into admin my site because i set /home as the static home page but failed to publish /home prior to that.
the guy that installed/hosts wp on my site is not currently available.
is there any way for me to fix this?

go directly to http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin
It should prompt you for login, then redirect you to the admin panel.
not that easy....
http://websitename.com/home/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.websitename.com%2Fwp-admin%2F
if i delete /home in the address line i get this page, which has UN & PW boxes.
http://websitename.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.websitename.com%2Fwp-admin%2F
once i enter that info it takes me to
http://websitename.com/home/wp-login.php
which doesn't exist because it was never published
You didn't set a static home (you'd do that under Settings -> Reading), you tried to change the WordPress URL (Settings -> General).
So first, you need to undo that bad URL. Several methods are mentioned here: Changing_The_Site_URL
oh heck ya....
thanks.
my site hoster guy will be so excited that he didn't have to fix it.
Thanks a ton!
