Set Featured Image through URLs.

    Hello, Is it possible to set featured image through some other URLs without uploading them.

    The theme uses the core WordPress featured image functionality and as far as I’m aware you can only use an already uploaded image or upload a fresh one.

    The only way to circumvent that set up is to either set up a custom meta box for the image and call it in place of the thumbnail or use a custom plugin.
