I have a blog which also incorporates a shop (powered by Woocommerce of course). I have a widget area that appears across the top of all pages that displays the recent products using the following shortcode:
[recent_products per_page="4" columns="4"]
Notice this has been set to a 4 column layout. I have the title and 'add to cart' buttons hidden so that just the images of the recent products appear.
I also have in my functions.php file the following piece of code:
/* 3 Column Item Pages - WooCommerce */ global $woocommerce_loop; $woocommerce_loop['columns'] = 3;
This is to ensure the shop and category pages display only 3 columns, instead of the default 4.
My issue is that if I have the recent products widget active using the code above, it alters my shop and category pages to display 4 columns instead of the 3 I've set in my functions.php file.
Is there a way round this so that I can display both the recent products widget area with 4 images that won't change the amount of columns on my shop and category pages?
You can see my set up here: http://www.gemmawild.co.uk although I have now set my recent products widget to display 3 images as a temporary fix so my shop displays correctly.
[No bumping, thank you.]
