Will this plugin work with 5,000 posts? Is this going to add to the server load and page load times?

    thanks

It's running for the first time on my blog with 15,000 posts. The load is 0.02

There was a big spike in server load when I first installed on a site with 10,000 pages. This was in the "warning zone" for my hosting company (Hostgator)—so it makes sense to monitor this.

Now that the plugin is running continuously, there is not further issue.

Could you please be more specific about this "warning zone'? I am on the Hostgator too but never experienced such extreme.

Did you see something on the Cpanel?

My BLC runs a "Nuclear Option" as a developer calls it and there is currently 29000 URL in the work queue and the current load is 0,02

In other words, are you sure that the 'spike' wasn't a figment of your imagination?

    Thanks in advance.

    bottleneck,

After installing the plugin for the first time time, and viewing my HG useage in the dashboard, I hit a CPU value in the "high" to "very high" zone. This then dropped after a while. No actual issues, though, just FYI, since you asked.

    polins,

You made me confused. I was talking only about the server load, it turns out you have observed CPU usage.

Server load does not equate with CPU usage.

To make this story short, since there are other users on your server, you have seen something not related to BLC activity.

Bottom line: no matter how big a blog, BLC won't overload the server.

    Thank you.
