• So my hosting company did “emergency hardware replacement on wolf shared server Reason: Hardware upgrade will replace the current server.” Part of the change involved an automatic truncation of my username.

I have two “blogs” on my domain: monkeycorner.net and monkeycorner.net/bagpiper. The first one, monkeycorner.net, transfered fine. The second, monkeycorner.net/bagpiper, I’ve had some trouble with. I’ve finally figured out how to get it to appear, but it appears without the custom designing I did (i.e. not accessing the child style.css file, or whatever). I could live with that and figure it out, except I can’t login to the admin dashboard. I type in the correct username and password and it takes me to the Page Not Found page of the root directory (monkeycorner.net). Also, I can no longer access the login through monkeycorner.net/bagpiper/wp-admin/. I have to type in monkeycorner.net/bagpiper/wp-login.php just to get to the login screen. I went through the Login Trouble page and did those steps, but no luck.

    Any suggestions/help?

    Thanks,
    Seán

So I’ve figured most of it out, and I have the dashboard going again. Now the Vigilance Options color scheme that I’ve enabled is not showing up. Ideas? Hints?

    Thanks,
    Seán
