   I need to move my site (subdirectory multisite) to another server, and i want to change where i have things on hard drive. I have moved database and everything else, can log in, but no posts are available. The posts are in the database, i have saved my permalinks again, but no dice still not able to get it working. if you have been thru this and have some suggestions I am listening.

   Which means what?

   Did you remember to bring your .htaccess over?

   hello again ipstenu,

   i changed my install using bitnami at /opt/bitnami/apps/htdocs

   i really don't the bitnami thing as much anymore, i want to do the "normal" LAMP install on an ubuntu server located at /var/www

   yes i brought along my .htaccess

   Ah, okay :) That file move shouldn't affect anything.

   Does your site work with ugly permalinks?
