acmelabzI have a Windows 2008 Std Server. I have installed PHP and used Web Platform Installer to install WordPress (I have also tried installing with out Platform Installer). When I get the the last part of the installation i get a link to "launch the website". I get an error message "Cannot display the webpage"
I can not get the website to work. I have set permissions for the folder that holds the website to give everyone write permissions and share.
I want to host my websites on my own machine but I have been unsucessful in over 63 attempts over the last 7 months.
I am sure I am missing something but I don't know what. I have no problem getting a Frontpage website to work.
Is there some area that I should focus on, I can ask the hosting people because that would be me.
