   Hey im new to wordpress and as ive seen on a few sites the side bar is off the main sheet to the left or right. So that the Sidebar is completely seperate from the Header, body and footer. How can i do this?

   It whould be very easy to do you could write your own themes. I guess you can't or you whould not be asking that question.

   So, I suggest you to browser trough the thousands of available themes and see if you find one that suits you.

   Just the few themes frameworks with sidebars in the body, footer and header: atahualpa, hybrid, thematic.
