Seperate Page on Site

    Hey everyone,

    I’ve been searching online for awhile now and I’ve found some information on my problem but from what I’ve read I cant figure out the safest way to achieve my end goal.

    I currently have my WordPress site running http://www.prowilderness.ca

    My issue is I want to have a separate web page (.html) that’s reachable my going to http://www.prowilderness.ca/name

    From what I’ve read I’ll need to edit my .hta access file.
    I just have no clue what I”m doing when it comes to that haha
    So any information would be greatly appreciated
    I realize adding the page into WordPress would be easier and a lot less of a headache, but I’d prefer to have it separate from WordPress.

    Why not just upload the html file and link to it?

    I have it uploaded, but it redirects you to the contact us page for some reason

    The url would have to be domain.com/filename.html if it’s at the root of the site or domain.com/directoryname/filename.html if in a directory. You could also upload it to the media gallery and grab that link.
