I have many galleries on the same page and I’ve set up them up with the manual hidden DIV for the standard WP [gallery] with a single thumbnail for each gallery.

The problem that I’m running into is once the fancybox pops up, it moves between the galleries with the left and right arrows.

I’d like to set it up like this:
    • A visitor clicks on a thumbnail
    • That image pops up and the arrows take the visitor left and right through that particular gallery
    • The visitor must then close that fancybox and click on the next thumbnail to view the next gallery, and so on.

I hope this makes sense, I can’t seem to find an answer here or on the FAQ.

    Thanks,
    Ross

I would appear that I can get this to work if I break each IMG in the hidden WP [gallery] into their own a href sharing the same rel but this is not ideal.

Is there a way to give all the images in the gallery the same rel all at once?

    Hi,

You might be able to make it work like this: Set the auto-gallery option to “Gallery per section (below)” and then define a section class name in the Section(s) field like for example “.gallery” (without the quotes, and you can remove all other entries from that field)

The next version will have a dedicated option for this so please watch out for that after the upgrade (soon)…

    Hope that helps 🙂
