Using version 3.6.1 of Events Calendar.

Great plugin! Is there an easy way call a calendar feed for an individual calendar category?

I work for a small university and I would like to display the Admissions calendar feed on our admissions page. But we also use the calender for other non-admissions events like alumni gatherings.

Is there a way to make this work?

Also, are Atom feeds available or only in rss?

    Thanks!

Still waiting for some feedback on this. I can possibly pay a flat fee for customization but I’m not too wild about paying a recurring annual fee for premium support.

    Howdy Murphy!

That would be possible for a programmer to do. Definitely worth looking into hiring one if you prefer. Though, the flat fee might cost more than many years of PRO support. Of course, then the word would be done for you while you kick back and drink a beer or whatever.

Regarding you Atom quesiton, check out this link.

Just one thing to note, you are certainly not required to renew your PRO license if you chose to purchase it. In fact, when your license expires in a year you are still able to keep the latest PRO version (as of a year from now) running on your site forever. The only caveat is that if you upgrade the core The Events Calendar plugin, it will eventually likely stop working with the older PRO version. Of course you are free to disable PRO at that point and continue running the latest TEC if you so choose.

Small note: In the current release of TEC there is an issue with disabling PRO, if you have created Recurring Events (a feature unique to PRO). Basically those recurring events will cease to function, and you would need to recreate them. However, this is something I am going to bring up to the team and see if we can change. We do not want peole to ever feel locked in. Rather, we want you purchase from us because you like what you see. Hence why I would be interested in correcting that issue if possible. Krep in mind though that issue only affects recurring events. If you do not use that feature, you can 100% safely disable PRO in a year and continue using the free version of TEC, or you can simply keep the same version of TEC with PRO enabled after a year. The choice is yours.

That small note turned into a large one. Just wanted to mention that the free forums get a support pass once a week. Our PRO forums get a pass multiple times a day. Nearly 100% of threads will receive a response in 25 hours there.

All that said, not trying to push you into buying anything. Just wanted you to understand the options out there. 🙂
