separate past and future events

    How can one create separate past and upcoming events lists? I also would like to have a condensed list of upcoming events as I managed to get for my past events. I had already succeeded. I had a category for upcoming events and tags for past events. It disappeared suddenly. I don’t know why and I’m no more able to get it back. Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem? My website: Germancenterhouston.org.
    My landing page is fine, but when you go to events, only past events is alright. It seems I don’t get the settings right, or is it something else?
