    Hi,

im completly new to wordpress. Im working on this site forbrukslÄn for a company, but I see that everyone seems to use wordpress in SEO. So my question is, can I implement wordpress on my site witout deleting the content there? And is wordpress better for SEO than normal html?

    Thanks in advance!

    WordPress uses "normal" HTML.

I've also used two very good plugins for SEO. You can try all-in-one SEO or platinum SEO.

  4. Yoasts SEO plugin, also, if you need one at all.

I don't even need any of those plugins because my theme has SEO features built in. WordPress has an advantage over a regular html website because it auto generates pages. The more pages in your website, the more likely it is for a search engine to notice you and possibly rank you higher.

The problem with theme-based SEO is that if and when you switch themes... well anyway, you get the point.

As for your last statement "The more pages in your website, the more likely it is for a search engine to notice you and possibly rank you higher." that's not totally true. Sure, having 100 pages is generally better than one page but overall, fresh quality content trumps quantity.

In other words, having one new well-written page per week is way better than one new cruddy page per day.

All in one seo plugin is the best undoubtedly. It just solves the purpose. It has kind of become mandatory now to have a good all in one seo title and description to make sure your page gets indexed faster and starts ranking soon.

This is an 8 month old post - pianoman100 please make a new topic, all your own. If you're putting in links like <a>yamaha-digital-piano</a> then you're doin' it wrong.

    <a href="http://example.com">My cool site</a> is a link.
