  • Hilljo,

HTTP 500 Internal Server Error is a generic webserver error, so unfortunately I can’t tell from that if there’s an issue relating to All in One SEO Pack or not; take a look at your web logs, especially any error logs, or contact your web hosting company and ask them about the error.

Hi, thanks for your response. On the first occasion I went to the host and they decided to deactivate the plugins. I then was able to get into my blog and reactivate the plugins and all seemed well. Today when I tried to update the SEO I encountered the same error but the person at the server led me a merry dance and I got lost in the fog of jargon.
Any ideas? It will be appreciated.
    Many thanks anyway.

    Hilljo,

What did they tell you, anything useful? Was there anything in your web error logs, or any error log files in your web root directory?

Hi, sorry I took so long to reply. Thank you for keeping me in mind. They told me to go to wp-content and highlight plugins. I couldn’t even get that far before the link went dead. I checked the error log and had the following. Unfortunately I haven’t got a clue what it means. I’d be grateful for any help. Pax vobiscum.
[05-Nov-2013 11:14:10] WordPress database error Unknown column ‘notes’ in ‘field list’ for query
INSERT IGNORE INTO wp_slim_stats (dt, notes, ip, language, country, searchterms, resource, content_info_id, browser_id)
    VALUES (‘1383650049′,”,’3351074711′,’xx’,’us’,”,’/250?replytocom=2462′,’2′,”) made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), wp, WP->main, do_action_ref_array, call_user_func_array, wp_slimstat::slimtrack, wp_slimstat::insert_row

    Hi there,

You already posted this request on our support forum, and our support team already elaborated on how to fix the issue. I dont understand why you are wasting other developers’ time. Sorry to be a little upset, but our time is as valuable as yours, and we would appreciate if you could show a little respect instead of spamming everywhere to get this thing fixed.

    Best

Hi, call me what you will but I don’t understand your last message. I tells me to upgrade SlimStat but I need to be on my blog to do so, don’t I? I can’t get pass the HTTP 500 error.
So being a nice, if extremely busy, guy could you lead this poor urchin to the bowl of delicious food?

No, you can do that via ftp. Go to

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-slimstat/developers/

Download version 3.0, unpack it and upload it to the appropriate folder on your system.

At this point you should be able to log back in, unless your provider requires extra steps to unlock your site. Deactivate SlimStat and reactivate.

    Then upgrade to 3.4.1.

All this was clearly explained in the installation instructions.

    Cheers
    Camu
