    I have tried all kind of settings, including Pod Pages of course, but it won't show my custom SEO title. Any hints?

    Are these pod pages for Advanced Content Types or Post Types?

    Advanced Content Types stored in extra table.

    WordPress SEO does not support Advanced Content Types at this time, as far as I'm aware. I'd be open to fostering support for this at some point, if Yoast / team are interested.

    Thanks Scott, at least I know now I am not doing anything wrong. As this manipulates the header stuff I guess there is no way of programing this myself?

    I will rework my stuff into CPT - just realized that ACT are left overs from version 1.0

    SEO has been built into Pod Pages themselves since Pods 1.x, you can do it in these ways:

    1. Customize the Pod Page title in the Pod Page itself, using static text, or using magic tags to pull content in from a Pod item -- to use magic tags, be sure that $pods is set to the item properly in precode, or use our newer more handy 'Associated Pod' and 'Wildcard Slug' to validate the item from the URL.

    2. Set $pods on the Pod Page precode, or use Associated Pod, then before your <head> code runs, just set $pods->meta[ 'description' ] or $pods->meta[ 'keywords' ] to whatever content you want. Other options are:

    // Custom Page Title
    $pods->meta[ 'title' ] = "Page title";

    // Custom Meta Description
    $pods->meta[ 'description' ] = "Meta description";

    // Custom Meta Keywords
    $pods->meta[ 'keywords' ] = "meta,keywords";

    // Custom Meta Properties
    $pods->meta_properties[ 'ob:title' ] = "Custom Facebook title";

    // etc...

    Thanks Scott, I am working with these options already. I just wanted to have the title optimized the same way as the WordPress Posts and Pages, which gets customized by the SEO plugin.

    I am able to set parts of the title, but WordPress adds automatically the website name to the front. e.g sitename | my title
