   Hi,

   I just install a new WordPress 2.8.6 version and I'm surprised to see that some useful SEO additional functionalities like Title tag, meta Description, meta Keywords tag and others like noindex tag or CSS class facilities are disappeared in this new version. These functionalities where present in my last 2.8.4 version and I was able to add these tags on every pages and every posts and the where very useful.

   It is surprising that Worpress is regressing in SEO area.

   Do you have an advice or a replacement solution?

   WordPress didn't contain SEO stuff like that as part of the core install in 2.8.4. But it's quite possible that you were using an SEO plugin previously which gave you that functionality, that isn't installed on your current version.

   Try something like All in One SEO.

   OK, I have no SEO plugin at all and a regular theme.

   On another server I have WordPress 2.8.6 without any plugin but these SEO facilities are there. I undestand now why. On this server I use Thesis WordPress theme wich have SEO tags alreay in it.
