Sending Post after POSTIE

    Hello,

    I use POSTIE to capture posts via email. I have many authors and needed a way to funnel the POST to one mail box so I do not have to give access to all these users.

    POSTIE is working and posting the POST. Problem is that SUBSCRIBE2 is not picking up the NEW post and sending to all registered users.

    NO ISSUES with number of emails or server or host. Current subscribers are getting all categories. All website authors have authority and are listed. Non are checked..

    What am I missing?

    @gdisalvo,

    The last time I looked into this I think it turned out that Postie I serfs data directly into the database rather than calling the core WordPress functions and hooks. This means that Subscribe/ cannot detect that a new post event has happened.

    @gdisalvo,

    There is a little bit of support for posting by email in the core of WordPress that is currently being broken out into a new plugin. It seems to make greater use of the core WordPress functions and might be worth a look.
