[resolved] Sender email not editable on multisite (3 posts)

We have Wysija 3.5.9 on a multisite network, and we have two sites using it -- Princeton Weekly Bulletin (PWB) and Pwrites.

When a PWB editor tried to send out the newsletter this morning, the Sender address ("Final Step: last details" page) was pwrites@princeton.edu and the field was not editable. When I go into the Pwrites site and go through the motions of sending out a test email, their Sender email is also pwrites@princeton.edu, but their field is editable.

I am going to try to revert back to 3.5.8 to see if this fixes things.

Okay, it turns out that my recent upgrade to 3.5.9 was not the problem, the problem was a second user on our network (Pwrites) started using the plugin for the very first time.

Then I changed the Settings --> Send With… settings from "Network's Method" to "Your own website." The Sender address field was once again editable, and I was able to change it to pwb@ instead of pwrites@

I returned to version 3.5.9 after I had downgraded.

I am not sure if the issue that I reported is the intended behavior, or if it is a bug. However, I am just glad to have a workaround.

    Hello Michael,
    Thanks for sorting out.
It's supposed to do that, so no bug here :)

    Hope this helps!
