When someone uses our Contact Us form and an email is sent to our support team, it is not displaying WHO the emailing is coming from although the email field is "required" as part of our form. We have no way to reply to them.

Emails come to us with the following:
    To: support@avoiceforchange.com
    From: support@avoiceforchange.com

Why isn't "From: joesmith@sample.com" showing up? Did we set it up wrong? It's fairly new and we have not tried to reply to someone before now. Help, please.

    Thank you.

    Takayuki Miyoshi

I've already been all through the tutorials and FAQs. That's why I'm asking here now.

My code looks exactly like the one in the screen shot. It "appears" that everything is set up correctly, yet its not showing up.

    Here is my "form"
    <p>Your Name (required)
    [text* your-name] </p>
    <p>Your Email (required)
    [email* your-email] </p>
    <p>Subject
    [text your-subject] </p>
    <p>Your Message
    [textarea your-message] </p>

    <p>[submit "Send"]</p>

    Here is my message body:
    From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    Subject: [your-subject]

    Message Body:
    [your-message]

Then try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme.

I had the same problem - I fixed it by removing the 'greater than' and 'less than' characters around the email address. i.e <[your-email]> should be just [your-email]

I'm having the same issue with the carets <[your-email]>. It used to work. Is there a bug in the latest release?

@pkd - As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. Posting in an existing topic prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Added to which, your problem - despite any similarity in symptoms - is likely to be completely different.
