Send to editor produces invalid HTML in IE Windows

In the Image Uploading section of the Write Post screen, I’ve noticed that if you select ‘Link to page’ and then ‘Send to editor’, in Internet Explorer for Windows you get completely different markup produced from Firefox.

Crucially, the markup inserted in IE is missing the closing < / a > tag. In FF this problem does not occur.

I suspect something is amiss with the Javascript in the file inline-uploading.php. I’ve tried to look at it but it makes my head ache.

Can anyone else varify this bug?
