The non-profit organization that I’m developing for has a Textpattern driven website, and I’ve built two blogs as separate sections for that site. They both are separate WP installs, located in subfolders of the main site, such as:

    http://www.mainsite.com
    http://www.mainsite.com/blog1
    http://www.mainsite.com/blog2

What I’m wanting to do is include the most recent post or two of these blogs on the front page of the main site (Textpattern). Including the wp-blog-headers.php file doesn’t work, as it’s causing the Textpattern system to break.

Is there a way to write the most recent posts to a file, like a simple text or php file, that I can then import in place with a simple php include?

Or does anyone have a better idea?
