    Thanks buzztone, but this page refers if the user upload the file, but I want to send and attached file (hosted in the server) to the user how contact with wordpress admin.

    Same process is used. Put the full path to the relevant file on your server instead of the [your-file] tag in section D – see Setting Up Mail

    i’m trying to solve this problem, too. i tried your idea of putting the url of the relevant file into the file attachments section (section D). i also tried putting my url within brackets, and also trying [file my-url] — but none of them resulted in there being an attachment sent.

    have you tried this before and had it work? is there another step?

    Same here, there is no way to send the attached file, I try lots of different ways:

    wp-content/uploads/example.pdf
    /var/www/site/html/wp-content/uploads/example.pdf

    Could someone test it please?
