Send an email when i have made a new post

    Hi there I want to be able to send an email to my mailing list when I write a new post, so that they can read the first few lines in their email, then click a link to go to the blog and read the full post. Is this possible? I am sure I have seen it in other blogs already.

    if you have a Jetpack plugin installed there is module that will update subscribers or you can ask them to subscribe to your rss feed.

    I have wordpress 3.5.1 installed and jetpack 2.1 – I have the JetPack Blog Subscriptions put into the Jetpack In Page section in the Widgets. However I am using my own theme integrated with my website…..and I am not seeing the form. Where can I get the form code so I can add it in myself?
