semiologic without the theme

Hi Denis,
I’m very interested in all the features that Semiologic brings to wordpress, but I don’t want to be tied down with the table-based Semiologic theme. What would I have to do to get incorporate all the functionality of semiologic in another theme, like K2? Another way of asking the same question may be: which plug-ins are install-and-forget, which require adding code to another theme, and which just won’t work outside semiologic.
