    Denis:

First, thanks so much for the quality plugins. I just upgraded to WP 2.0 and seem to be having trouble with Smart Link. The main place I've used it is on the following page: http://wolverton.owu.edu/lab/intro/, beginning at the link "Introduction to Protists." Before upgrading, all worked well. Now, there seems to be a problem with permalinks or something, since the "lab" directory is dropped from the Smart Link. Any thoughts, or is this a 2.0 problem?

    Thanks,
    --chris

    hello chris,

this is likely a bug in the latest version of the script, since I've changed the workflow somewhat and tried some url wizardry. could you paste the code you are using, and the results of adding the following somewhere in your page template:

    <?php var_dump(site_url); var_dump(site_path); ?>

    Best,
    Denis

    Denis,

Thanks so much for your reply, I really appreciate it. The results of the php are:

    string(29) "http://wolverton.owu.edu/lab/"
    string(5) "/lab/"

As for the code I'm using, it is (for example) [Introduction to Protists -> protists], where the page with the 'protists' slug is a sub-page of the referring page, 'intro.'

Again, thanks for any help, or if anyone else wants to chime in, I'd appreciate it!

Denis- thanks for such quick attention. It's developers like you that make WordPress such a wonderful platform, and that makes it easier (and more fun) to do my job.

    All the best,

Hi Denis, great job on Semiologic. I wanted to try out the new version but can't find it anywhere on using the link you provided. When I downloaded the theme, the date stamp is still Nov. 30, 2005. Is this correct?

Dennis, I an newbie to using PHP and cms styled web sites and am looking for any documentation on your CMS plug in. I have it up and running and love it (www.lendfast.org) but it seems that tweaking the scripts is a little different than what the knowledge base here shows?
    Thanks
    Aubrey

@ketcha: no worries, the files are up to date. it's just that the site isn't.

@afreshup: when things are documented, it is on my site.

Denis, downloaded from your site but I got this error when I activated the theme:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/httpd/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/template-functions-links.php on line 92

    I'm using WordPress 2.0

Dennis, I wanted to say that I have enjoyed your plugins very much. I just recently got my site formatted close to what I want and am using your 2 column look (slightly modified) with the structured formats. I am just about done with my "skin." I'm not sure if you'd be interested in it, as its pretty particular, but your more than welcome to it if you want. Its at:

Dear Denis: I'm using Semiologic and so far it is excellent. I've modified the look but for some reason the calendar stretches out to the right when I view single posts in IE (e.g. http://www.filmdetail.com/archives/2006/01/12/post-christmas-wrap-up/ )

Do you know if this is a CSS error by me? Or is it something else? Also do you know how to make the page fit in all the screen on monitors with lower screen resolutions?
