   I have been persuaded that WordPress is a good CMS for a website which does not include a blog. However the drawback is that information on using WordPress in this way is less easily accessed.

   Specifically I am looking for a good theme to use which :
   - is simple to use (I am a beginner)
   - is flexible, so that my site can be adapted as I learn
   - has a clean, uncluttered appearance without seeming amateurish
   - ideally is free.

   Any suggestions for specific themes or for how to search for such a theme?

   Thank you mercime. I haven't examined all 749 themes but most of them seem to be blog themes...

   Google is also your friend - search for e.g. "free wordpress cms theme" and get a link like this one
