[resolved] Selectable recipients in jetpack contact form? (5 posts)

I need to have a single contact form for our organization that allows the visitor to select who (or what group) to send emails to. I could do this with contact form 7 but it keeps marking messages as spam and I cannot figure out how to get it to work with the Jetpack contact form. It will only send messages to one email address per form.

Is there any way to accomplish this within Jetpack?

Edit: I don't have a live site to link to as yet.

You can enter multiple email addresses in the form builder, by adding a comma between each email address.

You can access the notification settings by clicking on the Tab at the top of the form builder:

Unfortunately, that does not do what I need. Doing this simply sends the message to ALL recipients listed.

I need to have a drop-down box, that allows the visitor to select who to send the message to.

    Is this possible?

By the way, IMO, you should not be marking topics as resolved, that should be reserved for the original poster.

Sorry, I misunderstood your original request.

Jetpack Contact Form doesn't allow you to select to whom you want to send the message. You could, however, work-around the issue by doing the following:

    • Send all contact form emails to a specific email address allowing the use of email filters and automatic forwarding, like Gmail.
    • In your Contact Form, create a Dropdown option listing all groups in your organization
    • In Gmail, set up a new filter for each group in your organization: if the email body contains the name of a specific group, forward it to a specific email address in your organization.

Ok, thanks. I'll look into that since all our email addresses are going through the Gmail system.
