Can you provide a new field type which has the possibility to provide single/multiple selection from a (dropdown) list out of a statically defined set of key-value pairs. Example: A dropdownlist for letter salutation, containing the values: [item value] display text

    • [1] Mr.
    • [2] Mrs.
    • [3] Family
    • [4] Company

Found it. It's not easy to find. For other searching for the same: Choose field type Relationship and related to Simple (custom defined list).

Sorry you had trouble finding it, hopefully you've now discovered the true power of the relationship field in Pods. More great things coming for relationships in Pods 2.3, due out this weekend.

Really coll would be a true m:n relationship with attributes. Multiple relationship actually is m:n, but what I'm missing is adding some additional data the each relation. E. g. you have two custom types / pods (or in my case wp_user and one pod): 'Department' and 'Person'. What I need to do is not only say, Person A is a member of department X, but Person A is a member of department X since 2012-10-01 (until now/ongoing) / Person B has been a member of department X from 2011-07-01 until 2013-03-05.

That's covered in another feature that will eventually be added here:
