  • I’ve been trudging through WP’s plugin directory for about a week now, but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. I figured, since I am a total WP newb (I’m currently migrating from ASP to PHP–learning still), that I’d ask around to see if any of the pros here could offer some insight.

I’m looking for a plugin that will will modify the “ahref” button on the tinyMCE toolbar (or add a new one) which will automatically add the inputted link into the link directory (either WP’s default blogroll, or another directory plugin–I don’t care.)

So basically, when someone goes to add a link to a post, it will show up in the directory. Ideally, the poster will be able to offer additional information about the link when they do this. this is why I’m not just using something such as Link Harvest. I hope to make these links filterable.

But… one thing at a time. Post Link Directory…. does it exist?

I’m not opposed to simply modifying something of similar structure and purpose. I love modding. It’s how I best learn, anyway. Just would sincerely appreciate a shove in the right direction, if at all possible.

    Thanks in advance!
