• Does anyone know how and where I can recruit a WordPress programmer for a project I’m overseeing? Are there good websites for posting jobs of this nature? Thanks very much.

Thanks, whooami. Cool site…I wasn’t aware of it. But do you know of any sites where I can recruit someone to work on staff, as opposed to defining a project and getting bids on it? In other words, I’m looking for a specific person with specific qualities and skills, as opposed to looking for someone to fulfill a certain project. If you or anyone else has any ideas, I’d be very grateful. Thanks.

    monster.com (possibly)

    craigslist.org (even better)

You can certainly send off an email to the WP-Pro list:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Mailing_Lists#Professional

Though its intent is similar to rentacoder.com whooami mentioned, I don’t see why it can’t be used to solicit for resumes.

Thanks, Kafkaesqui. The mailing list sounds like a great idea. I’ll try that right now. Thanks again, and thanks, whooami, for the other ideas as well.

    your welcome, good luck 🙂

Kafkaesqui, do you know how long it takes before an e-mail posted to the mailing list goes out to all its members? Thanks…

should go out immediately. THe last post I’ve seen on that list was dated Jan 1.

You have of course *joined* the list, correct? You must be a member of the list to send email to it.

Ah…no, I didn’t join the list. I just sent out the letter. I’m assuming you haven’t seen my letter yet? I’ll go and join and resend now. Thanks, again…
