Hello. I have been reading about seo for wordpress and I realized I need to create a site map and robots.txt file for my site. I read through the docs for these items, and unforunately it's beyond my ability right now.

I was wondering if someone would be willing to help me with creating these two items?

    My site is at: http://angerwise.com

Any help offered will be much appreciated.

A site map is not a once off file that you load and then forget about. The site map that you require is a file that is dynamically created every time you add content to your blog. Personally I feel that a good plugin is the way to go here. I would suggest a plugin called Google XML Sitemaps.

Hey that's great, thanks for the leads on the google sitemap generator. I just installed it and did all the steps, and it worked beautifully, like a charm. That's very much appreciated.

If I could also ask, what about the robots.txt file? Do I actually need that for seo? Or is that something I can not worry about? I checked out the plugins for that, Robots Meta being the most downloaded. It looks pretty straightforward but I'm not sure if it's something I need or not.

I installed robots-meta and that seems to be what I need, so all is well.
