seek plugin for mass deletion/merge of tags

    Does anyone know of a plugin which would allow me to delete or merge tags on a mass basis? In other words I’d like to see a list of my tags w. checkboxes that allows me to check all those I want to delete & do it at once rather than one by one.

    For mass deletion, you can use the bulk actions in WP-Admin -> Posts -> Tags.

    For merging, use the Merge Tags plugin.

    The problem w. the default bulk actions is that there is no feature allowing you to check all the boxes on the pg for true mass deletion. You have to check ea. box manually.

    Also, only a limited # of tags appear on ea. pg. I’m looking for a feature which will allow me to do mass actions more expeditiously than the current default configuration. I’d like 100 or more tags to appear on a pg. so I can merge & delete fr. a very large number of tags which I’ve created & wish to cull.

    The Merge Tags plugin doesn’t really answer these needs I don’t think.

    Though it doesn’t allow you to delete hundreds at a time, you don’t have to select each tag individually, selecting the “name” checkbox in the shaded title area selects all the visible tags on the page.
