   I'm pretty new to WordPress and I'd like to change my blog's home from http://www.bihlman.com/blog/wordpress to http://www.bihlman.com/blog, but when I change the "Blog Address" field in options to http://www.bihlman.com/blog, I get a "file not found error" when I go to view blog. What am I missing?

   You should make sure that you have an index.php copied over from /wordpress/

   in that index.php file, make sure you are pointing to the correct header file (example: wordpress/wp-blog-header.php)

   Check back if you still have more problems.

   The url that you enter has to actually point at the directory where the WordPress files reside. The Options in WordPress don't change that - that's something you have to do via your hosting account, ftp, etc.

   Thanks jdingman, I did what you suggested and now the front page of the blog comes up at http://www.bihlman.com/blog/, perfect, but when I click on any of the posts I get 404 error...Do I need to update the permalinks or something? thanks guys

   Yeah, you need to redo the permalink.

   Thanks for the help guys. I'm now experimenting with a new lap band blog to best use WordPress blogs.
