   Hi,

   I have just made a new installation of WordPress 3.1 on a server and can login to the admin panel without issues. I can also perform all tasks in the admin panel.

   However when I go to see the website, instead of a website I see a parent directory of all the files on the server.

   Now I don't know why this is happening but my guess is that it has something to do with the .htaccess file ?

   can someone please help ?

   Resolved.

   Had to play with .htaccess

   If anyone has the same problem, look into this thread
