    Hello

    Been reading about wordpress and the latest security attacks.

    Been following the instruction about two step Authentication and the new security tab

    Well it doesn't seem to be there on my admin page.
    I am running the latest update 3:5:1.

    Changed all my passwords.

    Can anyone advise.

    I think that applies to WordPress.COM sites...

  3. If you mean from Matt's post http://ma.tt/2013/04/passwords-and-brute-force/ then yes, that's a WordPress.COM feature and isn't available for self-hosted installations.

    There may be some plugins that can do the same but I'd refrain from that for now. ;)

    For dealing with the brute force attacks on a self-hosted installation this Codex article may help.

    If you want to use the 2-factor authentication on your own self-hosted blog, then there's a plugin for that:
