    Hi,

Just installed wordpress on my host via fanastico(?). I've enabled akismet and put certain words on the black list. Is there any thing else I need to do to have what could be considered a generally secure installation? I'm not after super duper secure just stopping your average script kiddie etc from screwing around.

    Many thanks

    Ben

The wise people do it ;-)

Your stuff is on the web. In public. Be paranoid!

Actually just been on with ftp and had a look and it *looks* like only owner has write access to any of the files. That sound right?

    Thanks

    Ben
