I have created a blog with the following privacy settings / visbilty:

"3.I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose – Select this option to create a private blog. If you want others to be able to view your private blog (and add comments, if you’ve enabled them) you’ll need to invite them to be a viewer." ref: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

my question is: will this blog be completely invisible to people not invited, in search engines, and will it be impossible to access the blog ane the content in it? iow will it be safe to have private content in this blog?

  2. If you've a WordPress.COM blog, you may want to ask in the correct forum.

This is the support forum for WordPress.ORG software and that sort of functionality typically requires the use of a plugin.

It is not the general policy to edit or delete forum posts. When a post is made and people contribute answers to an issue, that then becomes part of the community resource for others to benefit from and deleting posts removes this added value. In extreme circumstances, members of the moderation team might be persuaded to remove sensitive information that has been included in posts accidentally - but your best course of action is not to publish anything that you wouldn't want to be public. (Remember too that other sites take archive copies of the forums, and we can do nothing to control that.)
