    Greetings,

Here is what I am looking to do. When visitor arrive at the default first page. I want to provide them some info on the site but not allow them to access anything else until they register and are approved by the site admin. Once they log in, they will be able to access the docs I am uploading to the site.

Is there a tech note for this?

    Thanks
    Wayne

you could use the restrict content plugin.

this lets you restrict individual pages and posts to users logged in at different levels.

Thanks Robin, I did see that and have it installed. That covers protecting the content but I still need user signup moderation.

I use cforms plugin to create a "register" form, which then emails me the form when a new user wants to register.

I then set them up using dashboard/users with the send password by email option

It's not most intuitive plugin I used by any means, so worth watching this video to get a good idea of how it works
