Is there an actual folder named classifieds ? (if so, delete it)
Have you asked Bluehost if there’s a problem? Normally this shouldn’t happen on a subfolder instance so it may have to do with your use of IP vs domain name.
BTW, moving WP later to the domain name is going to be a PITA 🙁
As I have just started and there are many other issues I think I might just start again.
I had a new domain to use which was working fine till a few ago, although I have just transferred it to Bluehost, so that could be the issue.
I still have my main site running and I am trying to create a more updated version. I was going to swop the domain from my old site when the new one is up and running and I transferred most of the listings and adverts.
However having read about all the issues with a new domain I might be better to just redirect it to the new site later.
I have two child themes as a bundle one on each site, but I seem to have deleted my original wordpress site and I am not sure if this has affected it all.

Very possible. Depends on HOW you transfered, did the domains change, did paths change, etc etc.
