second nav bar in Brunelleschi (3 posts)

I wanted to add in a second nav bar(menu) to my header in Brunelleschi, so that I can have my general topics links above the header image, and the links to my categories below the image. (Currently, all links are above the image, which is a bit messy).

You can find my site at http://tractorgirl.com.au.

Thanks for any advice on this.

    Consider a custom menu

I can only see how to add a custom menu as a widget - i.e. it will end up in the sidebar, or in the footer. But I want it to look like -

    _________________________________
    (primary Nav menu here)
    _________________________________

    (Header Image here)
    _________________________________
    Secondary Nav menu here)
    _________________________________

    Blog posts here ....

I'm sure it's possible to do that, but I really have not much idea where to start. I don't know much about css/html/php.

I would appreciate any help, thanks.
