I'm an attorney-technologist in the Seattle area looking for a hosting site for a new blog. I need a hosting site that can install WordPress for me and get me up and running per my design specifications. I would appreciate any references from this forum on good options. Posted 6 years ago #Yes, an email address probably is more handy, but I guess I'm new enough to the blog world to not yet understand the etiquette here, and my instincts and habits kept me from posting my email address. Forgive my noobness, I will avoid phone numbers in the future (btw, I got two calls; this is obviously a very watched site).

It's not about the (n)etiquette - it's more about convenience. Calling a number from the other end of the world might be too expensive even to consider it. Email is given for those browsing here online. Furthermore, for internet services you don't need local people. For example, while being in the middle of the Canadian Prairies, I just finished a blog install and customization for a client in Australia :) - All the communication happened via email.
