An easy question (well, I'm not allowed to post in WP-Advanced):
Instead of year-based permailinks, is it possible to set up season-based ones, to match up with my club's football seasons? That is to say, replacing '2009' and '2010' with '0910', '2010' and '2011' with '1011' and so on?
Starting your post permalinks with numbers is recommended, so I do; I'd just like to amke the link with the season more obvious.

The only structure tags that can be used in permalinks are listed on Using_Permalinks.
I can't help you with permalink issue as esmi points out it's not possible
you may want to look into this plugin, though as a way of managing clubs

Thanks guys.
I've seen the League Manager plugin, which would be useful if I was managing a league (I think) - I only care about the one club, and we can embed some some from the FA's results site, so a lot of what it can do is wasted on us.
