Searching admin area for posts and pages

i have a lot of pages to edit. when I search for the page im looking for the search doesn’t return or seem to find the post, even if i type the exact name. Is anyone else noticing this, or is it just me?

this is in the admin area on the page screen. all pages are displayed and even if i see the page i want and type its name, the search returns other pages, like its searching the page content and bot by title.???

any help appreciated.
