Searchform disappears from sidebar if there is ‘no result’

I have used a searchform.php file to customize the searchform and call it with <?php get_search_form(); ?> in the sidebar.php . it works fine. but when a search has no results the searchbox disapears from the sidebar. I don,t know how to fix it as it doesn’t happen when there is a result or on any other page, as far as I have seen.

If I dont use a searchform.php the form doesn’t disapear at any time. but then i can’t customize it.
