   We have installed extra wordpress blog in the current one. Everything works fine except from the fact that when the search widget is used it throws back to the initial site.

   Just to explain a little bit more, we have a main website and a russian localisation of it installed at the /ru directory. For some reason the search from /ru throws back to the main website and performs search there.

   What could we do to solve this?

   Its probably pointing to the wrong database, somehow. What is the connection between the two databases? How would the search in one site even know that the other site exists?

   Did you create the Russian site originally by copying the main site? Perhaps the database still has URL or server location references to the original site in it??
