Unfortunately, our plugin can’t search TablePress tables and to be completely honest making the tweaks to change this would probably cause other settings to not work properly and we are not sure if the right results would be returned. But if you would like, we can at least point you in the right direction – where (in which file) you can make those changes.

It seems we were a bit hasty in assessing the complexity of the problem. For some reason we just can’t force our plugin to work with those tablepress_table types.
This doesn’t mean we have given up on finding the solution, but for now I am sorry to say that you won’t be able to search those TablePress tables.

Petra, thanks for following up with me on this. I had to disable your plug in. I spoke with the developer of the table press plug in and I can make his tables searchable if they are set up the correct way. What I liked best about your plug in is that it highlights what you’re searching for. It’s too bad I am not able to combine both plug ins to make a truly spectacular feature. BUT, that’s the beauty of WordPress … things are always changing for the better so who knows, maybe it will all come together.
