I need a site to search specific terms within pages, but the WP search is only searching page titles, not the content that is actually in those pages. I tried using the plugin "Search Everything" but that must be a misnomer because it did not work. Am I missing something? Shouldn't this be a standard function of the built-in WP search?

Not sure what theme you are using but the built-in search function works for me and it searches both content and titles.
If you built the theme yourself, I would start by reviewing the info in the codex - http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Search_Page

I have twentyeleven running on my test site and just did a search for Los Angeles and start, both of which are words in the content and the search is fine...
Can you please provide a link to your site so we can have a look?

Is the training material just documents? If that's the case, then maybe that's why it's not working. There's no way WordPress can find the content in the actual documents.

Posted 3 months ago #Yes and no. The pages contain a list of titles that link to the documents.
So for example, there is a page called "Resources" and on that page there is a link called "Accounting Manual". When I search the term "accounting", it only brings up results of pages that contain that word in the title, but not the Resources page with the word accounting in it.
