I recently changed my domain name (hosted at GoDaddy.com) and they worked with me to make sure we didn't lose any data and all is well. But I have a problem that I can't figure out.
The search only works if I'm logged in. As soon as I log out, the search doesn't work. For new users it doesn't work at all, until they have access. I haven't checked to see if access levels make any difference.
Does anyone have clue about this???
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I just did that and found out that the Max Banner Ads plugin causes the malfunction. So I've left it deactivated and email them about it.
Thanks for your suggestion. It's good to have search working again, but now I don't have banners...Got to get that fixed.
