search not working when we put in a zip code

    WP Places Locator is installed on our sites. We have been using it for almost a year on one site, but recently it stopped working on both sites. If you go to this page, you can see how we are using it:

    When we search without filling anything in, then the search returns the correct results for the category. However, if we fill in the zip code, there is nothing returned at all.

    This was working a while ago. When we went to the plugin site, the download file was only a readme file and nothing else. Can you please give us the latest version of the plugin or let me know what you would recommend in our situation? We would like to continue using it on our site.

    Hi Amy,
    Have you done any update to WordPress recently? Or installed a new plugin?
    Something must have caused the plugin to stop working.
    Anyway, I changed the name of WordPress places locator to GEO my WP couple months ago. This is the same plugin but many updated have been made since WordPress places locator. I would recommend you to remove wp places locator and installe GEO my WP. I am not sure if you have done any custom work (code or styling) to the plugin but you’ll probably have to redo it after installation. The locations should still be ok as they are being saved in the database.
    if you do decide to update GEO my WP please do a backup of you database before you do so and do not just delete the wp places locator but remove it to a save folder on your computer. I just don’t want you to lose any hard work you might put into it.
    I just want it to be safe since you have not updated your plugin in a long while and as I said many changes and update has been made since then.
