Search Form on Dashboard (6 posts)

I recently upgraded to 2.02, and have a dashboard problem. The search form lays on top of the links to "sign out" or see your profile. I can't find the appropriate code in ../post.php but may be overlooking it.

Anyone else having this problem, or can help resolve it?

I can't see any "searchform" in the dashboard. Do you have a screenshot?

See in the upper right, how it's blocking the sign-in link:

ummm...I don't have a search form in my dashboard - never did. Did you hack this in or a plugin?

I suspect this is the cause:

Deactivating the plugin will clear this up. Or, modify its css to position it better on your pages (look for the codex_css() function in the plugin file).

That did it, Kafkaesqui, Samboll. I deactivated the plug-in. Not sure where I got it, but now it's gone!

    thanks,
    Tony
